AccountNow Appoints James G. Jones as Chief Executive Officer

SAN RAMON, Calif. - January 20, 2010 – AccountNow Inc., a leading Internet prepaid card issuer, today announced that it has appointed James G. Jones as its new Chief Executive Officer. Tim Coltrell, former CEO will continue to remain on the Board of Directors playing a strategic role in directing the company’s various initiatives.

Jones brings forth a rich management experience of 35 years from the banking, consumer lending, payment processing and related financial services industry. He has garnered in-depth knowledge and expertise having served at Citigroup, Crocker, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, Providian and GMAC-Residential Capital. In particular, Jones served as the President of direct banking at Bank of America. He was Vice Chairman at Providian and served as the CEO at GMAC-Residential Capital.

He also serves on the boards of DepotPoint, Merchant e-Solutions, Bora Payment Systems, and Community Lend. He holds a BA degree from Washburn University, an MA from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from the University of Kansas.
