Yes. You can deposit your tax refund or other one time payments from institutions that offer direct deposit. Use the routing number and DDA number provided on your direct deposit form.
What happens to my direct deposit if I change jobs?
The payments from your previous job will stop automatically. To re-start direct deposit with your new employer, fill out another direct deposit form, sign it and hand it to your new employer.
How can I get a Money Share Card for a family member?
To order an AccountNow Money Share Card for a friend or family member, call us at 1-866-925-2036. There is a one-time fee of $10 to order the card.
How do I add cash to my prepaid account?
To add money to your prepaid account using cash, you will need to take your cash and card number to a store location that offers one of the following money transfer services:
How much does adding money to my prepaid account cost?
Direct Deposit is absolutely free. When you add money to your prepaid account with cash, the store location normally charges a "fee" for this service that varies by store. AccountNow does not charge for adding money to your prepaid account.
How much money can I add to my prepaid account at one time?
For direct deposits, we accept deposits from $10 up to $6,000 per day. To add money using cash, you can add as little as $10. There is a maximum cash limit of $950 per day and a maximum cash limit of $9,500 per month.
How much money can I move between my AccountNow Prepaid Card and my AccountNow Money Share Card at one time?
For accounts with direct deposits, you can move up to $500 a day to/from your Money Share Card. For accounts with cash deposits only, the limit is $300 per day.
How often can I add money to my prepaid account?
You can add cash to your prepaid account up to 30 times in a 30-day time period using any of the available options: MoneyGram, Western Union, Visa ReadyLink (Visa only), or Green Dot (With Western Union, you are limited to a maximum of 10 times per 30-day period). For example, in a given 30 day period, you can add money 10 times using Western Union and another 20 times using MoneyGram or Green Dot, for a total of 30 times.
Why do I have to pay a fee to add cash to my prepaid account?
AccountNow does not charge any fees for adding money. However, if you want to add cash at a store, most stores charge a fee of $3.50 to $4.95. Adding your paycheck automatically is fast, free and easy with
direct deposit. We offer special promotions from time to time to rebate or discount the store fee.
How do I know if my money was added to my prepaid account?
When adding cash, the store should provide you with a receipt number or reference number for each transaction. Please save this transaction number. You can also get your balance information using our
FREE SMS Text Alert service.
When will the money be available?
Your money will normally be available on your payday if you are using Direct Deposit. If you are loading cash, your money will generally be available instantly.
