You can add money to your prepaid account by cash loads or direct deposit.Your bank may allow transfers from a checking or savings account to your AccountNow card. Contact your bank for details and/or restrictions.

To add money to your prepaid account using cash, you will need to take your cash and card number to a store location that offers one of the following money transfer services:

After I add money to my prepaid account, how fast can I access it?

Direct deposits and electronic payments are available the same business day they are received by AccountNow. Cash deposits made through money transfer services are generally available instantly.

How much does it cost to add money to my prepaid card?

There is no additional charge for adding money to your card by Direct Deposit. When you add money to your prepaid account with cash, the store location normally charges a fee of $3.95 to $5.95 for this service that varies by store. Please visit our deposit center for details on store load fees and current promotions that discount or rebate the store fee. You can add money to your account for free† if you use direct deposit.

How much money can I add to my prepaid account at one time?

There is a daily maximum you can add to your account. The maximum daily limit is $10,000 for Direct Deposit and $1,500 for cash loads. Third party money transfer services used to load funds to your Card Account may have their own daily, weekly or monthly limits on the frequency or amount of cash you can value load to your Card Account. Consult your Cardholder Agreement for fees and load limits associated with your account.

Can I direct other people to add money to my prepaid account?

Yes, you can have anyone add cash to your prepaid account by using one of the following money transfer services: MoneyGram, Western Union, Visa ReadyLink (Visa only) or Reload @ the RegisterTM. You can also direct your employer or government benefits provider to add money using free direct deposit.

Are there any limits to the amount of money I can add?

Yes, there are daily, monthly and overall limits on the amount of money you can add to your prepaid account, There are daily and monthly limits on the number of loads you can do onto your prepaid account, and there may also be minimum load amount requirements depending on your load method. See our Fees and Usage Limits in the Cardholder Agreement for a description of our current load limits. Money transfer service providers may have their own more restrictive limits.
