How does Green Dot Bank collect my personal information? |
We collect your personal information, for example, when you: ■ open an account or make deposits or withdrawals from your account ■ use your debit card or provide account information ■ give us your contact information We also collect your personal information from others, such as credit bureaus, affiliates or other companies.

Why can’t I limit all sharing? |
Federal law gives you the right to limit only only: ■ sharing for affiliates' everyday business purposes — information about your creditworthiness ■ affiliates from using your information to market to you ■ sharing for non-affiliates to market to you State laws and individual companies may give you additional rights to limit sharing. Affiliates |
Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. ■ Our affiliates include financial companies, such as our parent bank holding company. |

Nonaffiliates |
Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. ■ Green Dot Bank does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you. |

Joint marketing |
A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. ■ Green Dot Bank does not jointly market. |

Other important information |

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy protections under state law. We will comply with applicable state laws before sharing nonpublic personal information about you. We may do this by sending a separate notice of those rights to you. For example, if you are a resident of California or Vermont, we will not share with nonaffiliates except for our everyday business purposes or with your consent.
